"Introduction to Color, Composition and Making Collage Papers" April 4th, 2009

Strong paintings show an imaginative use of composition, and color sense. This one day workshop introduces basic and critical elements of how they work together. We will review the choice of palettes and why, the pigments we really need, andthe magical combinations that are achievable. We will make reich collage papers in cohesive colors, while exploring patterns. We will cover aspects of good design, and division of space. Working with all these elements, participants will see and feel the effects of integrating collage papers into their own paintings.
